Gum

Gum is good. For years I have been told its bad for my teeth blah blah blah. But now I am the one laughing because its actually good for your teeth. It makes them clean and can make them whiter. I have had one cavity in my adult teeth.
So what makes a good gum?
Well Double Bubble was tasty considering they cost 2-3 cents when I was a kid. Thats for ONE gum not a package. But after 5 minutes the thing would turn into a chewie bar of soap and break your jaw. Your jaw muscles would get sore and ache, and you couldn't blow a decent bubble without spraining your tongue.

Bubblicious was also another favourite. It was soft and stayed soft. It also made great bubbles, but the flavour diminished quickly and if you chewed it for too long it would seperate and start to stick to your mouth.

Now I just chew Excel. It's my favourite. Its minty and stays minty. I prefer Winterfresh and Polar Ice. Spearmint, can give you an aftertaste after you spit it out. Peppermint when chewed for too long gives me a headache. And those medicine mint ones, like Midnight Mint or Eucalyptus are putrid and should stay inside the plant it was extracted from.
Then you have the fruity ones. Fruity ones are good, I remember cherry back when I was 11 or 12. You chew it for an hour and you bite into a sour crystal that burst and gave you more flavour. Now you buy cherry or lemon its like eating a Halls or Vicks. Why is this fruit minty? Its nasty. I don't want to eat a lemon thats spicy. I don't want to be reminded of that time in January when I had the flu and was coughing up phlegm and lungs, delirious from a fever, chewing on Halls. When I buy lemon or cherry I want something tangy and fruity.
Now that I pass on lemon and cherry, there is now Tango by Dentyne. I bought it and liked it very much.........for about 3 minutes.

Once the flavour diminished I swore that I was chewing on some sweaty balls. You heard right, sweaty balls.

It was awful sweaty gum and the aftertaste remained in my mouth after I spit it out. I then brushed my teeth. The taste was still fucking there. Dear god I woke up the next day.....and low in behold the sweat flavour WAS STILL THERE. After a quick exorcism and a bottle of Listerine the flavour had finally dissipated.
My theory about this is they use sorbitol or something for sweetner which causes some interaction for sweat to occur.....oh hell I dunno.
The only negative effects that I am aware of when it comes to chewing gum is it causes you to swallow air resulting in gas and sometimes bloating. So all in all, chew some gum and be merry.

We should market for dentyne....hahaha
Another gum flavour was out there by Trident, I believe, also fruit flavour with ass aftertaste.
Koolers sounds like an American thing, because I haven't seen it here. Coconut sounds good I would buy it.
I say we should invent chocolate flavoured gum
I have also seen coffee flavour, which bombed because we all know how appealing coffee breath is.
my favorite gum of all time is Big Red. i don't know if they still make it (it's been a while), but it was a cinnamon flavored gum that was pretty good.
Hahahaa the most surprising thing I heard was a location in the states didn't have ketchup flavoured chips. I think it was a town just outside L.A.
the canadian thing i don't understand is poutine. i seriously don't get it, lol.
Poutine is good.
Poutine for any one scratching thier heads, is fries gravy and cheese.
When I eat this bowl of virtual diarrhea I add ketchup to break up the richness of the fried potatoes, creamy gravy, and heavy cheese.
Man I haven't eaten that garbage in about 3 years....
